We would like to encourage you to join the Meadowlark Parent Teacher Association (PTA). Your membership shows your support for the partnership of families and school staff to encourage excellence in the educational experience of our children. This is one of the first ways you can take a pro-active role in your child’s school year! As you may know, parental involvement in a child’s school experience is directly correlated to the child’s academic performance.
PTA membership dues are $5.00 per person ($1.50 to Meadowlark Elementary, $1.75 to the State PTA, and $1.75 to the National PTA). Your PTA works throughout the year not only to provide a volunteer base to support our children and staff, but to raise funds to enrich the resources available for teaching and learning in our classrooms and on our school campus. Each opportunity to make a difference in your child’s school experience is vital to the continued success of our public school system. PTA is just one of the great ways your children see that you value and are personally invested in their academic life. Enrollment forms will be available during Open House. This information will also be sent home to you in your child’s Thursday folder at the beginning of the school year .
